How does astrology help you attract DREAM clients for your business?

I’ve gotten a lot of questions and inquiries from people about using astrology for your business, and I thought I’d share some insight on this topic!

Many people are surprised that a business could have a birth chart.

What’s funny is that often times, entrepreneurs refer to their businesses as “their babies”.

Maybe they intuitively know that their business is a unique energetic ecosystem that exists outside of them—yet is still connected to them.

I chatted with Mia Kercher on this topic recently, about how to enhance your business using astrology. Our conversation was invigorating, and inspired me to create this guide.

When I first launched my astrology practice, it was no confidence I had done so during Capricorn season.

My business is a new moon baby, meaning that the sun and moon were in the same sign at time of its birth. It made complete sense, as it activated my natal North Node in Capricorn in my 4th house of home. My journey this lifetime is to cultivate inner authority, and help others do the same.

This felt fated. I knew my practice would change my life—yet I didn’t know in what way.

Yet of course it did! It was actively affecting my north node! I chose it for this reason!

Fate, I believe, is not only something that is meant to happen for us, but what we actively choose to happen for us.

I had been procrastinating my business’ launch for about a year— I was afraid of how I would be perceived, especially from my fellow Professors and Mentors. At that time, I was teaching Graphic Design at the Ontario College of Art and Design University. I was deeply unhappy, and unfulfilled, which surprised me because I LOVE teaching. Yet, it was unaligned. Something felt off. I spent years of my life for the recognition and prestige of being a Professor, yet it was just a title. It wasn’t what I actually wanted to be doing.

I was afraid that if I launched my astrology practice, I’d lose my freelance design clients. In the end, this did happen. Was it a self fulfilling prophecy? I believe so. I lost a lot of people. Yet I gained so much more from the process of speaking my truth.

I attracted soul-nourishing clients and friends, and opened up a part of myself that stayed hidden for far too long.

Finally, I was afraid of if I was good enough to giving thoughtful insight to someone. This was funny, because I was already reading charts for free for my friends and community for about a year, and was actively studying astrology for around three years. My insecurities were ruling my actions at this time. Then my first astrology mentor, Aliza Kelly, encouraged me to just take the leap.

I chose a specific date and time for its launch, and had my first 10 birth chart readings lined up within the first day.

My astrological practice was created to not only fulfill what I’m here to accomplish this lifetime, yet align myself to a deeper soul’s calling.

It was created to help others shine a light into their inner worlds, their blind spots, their challenges, their ancestral patterns, and their beautiful strengths so that they can love themselves more and deeply heal.

I’ve read over 150 birth charts since the initial launch of my business, and I can honestly say I’ve never felt as at home in a career before.

Going back to my question, how does astrology help you attract dream clients for your business?

It helps you understand yourself so well, so you can show up authentically.
It helps you see your blind spots of where you could be helping more people. It helps you position yourself and your business in a MAGNETIC way.

What do I look at in my own birth chart to know more about my career?

This really depends on your specific birth chart.

There are a lot of generalizations of specific points and areas to look at, such as the 10th house for your career, yet this is a surface level approach.

Your birth chart is uniquely you.

The specific points to look at would be different for everyone. This is why, even I, go to other Astrologers I trust to get their perspective on a topic.

However, one of my favourite things to look at is the chart ruler, the house the chart ruler is in, which other houses the chart ruler rules, and the aspects to the chart ruler. This shows me the major themes of someone’s life, and what why they’re here this lifetime.

I also love looking at someone’s Jupiter sign (which is why I created my MAXIMIZE YOUR MAGNETISM course), Saturn placement, and north and south node placements. I would still consider the 10th house, along with the 6th house and 2nd house, yet I would look into the aspects of the ruler of those houses.

Do you look at a person’s birth chart or business birth chart first?

I always look at someone’s birth chart first!

I want to really deeply know an individual before diving into their business’ birth chart.

How do you determine a business’ time of birth?

The time of birth for a business can look differently to many people.

For example, if you announced it to the world, and you set a timer on instagram for its launch, that can be the time of birth. Another example is when you registered your business and received the confirmation e-mail.

This really depends on when you felt, the exact moment, was the “birth” of your business.

When did you actually FEEL like you launched your business?
When did the public find out?
When did it become REAL for you?
Can you find that exact time?
Is there a digital record of it?
